Sicily wildfires: over 100 evacuated in Agrigento province

Thousands of firefighters have been battling wildfires that have ravaged Sicily for several days, destroying large areas of the island. Flames reached residential buildings, with witnesses describing fire striking directly against walls. Local authorities in Agrigento province evacuated more than 100 people.
