England to cut taxes for pubs and live music venues, raise levies on vape shops

Andy Burnham's government plans to cut business taxes for pubs, clubs and live music venues in England while raising levies on vape shops, classed as "anti-social" businesses. Full eligibility criteria and exclusions — including for the largest live music venues — are expected to be announced at the autumn Budget. The Night Times Industries Association welcomed the direction but called for clarity on which venues would qualify.
