BAE Systems unveils Brontanax unmanned combat jet — test flights planned for 2027

British defence company BAE Systems unveiled a model of its new unmanned combat aircraft, the Brontanax, at the Farnborough Airshow. The jet falls into the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) category, designed to operate alongside piloted fighters. BAE Systems says the first test flights could begin as early as next year.
