Poll: 40% of Poles expect PiS to split as Kaczyński meets Morawiecki

A poll by SW Research for "Rzeczpospolita" shows that four in ten Poles expect PiS to break apart — more than those who believe the party will survive. The meeting between Mateusz Morawiecki and Jarosław Kaczyński is taking place on the deadline day of an ultimatum issued to MPs belonging to Morawiecki's Rozwój Plus association. Tensions within the party are rising amid rivalry between Morawiecki's faction and PiS leadership.
