Tauron installs 3 million smart electricity meters across its network

Tauron's distribution subsidiary has installed more than 3 million remote-reading smart meters (LZO) to date, including over 500,000 in the first half of 2026. Tauron is Poland's largest energy distributor, serving around 6 million end customers and supplying more than 50 TWh of electricity per year. Smart meters allow remote monitoring of energy consumption without a meter reader visit.
