Poland's "anti-quack" law one step from enactment after Senate amendments
Poland's Senate proposed amendments on Wednesday to the Patient Rights Act — popularly known as "lex szarlatan" (the anti-quack law). The legislation aims to remove from the market and the internet health services that contradict current medical knowledge and pose risks to patients' lives. After the amendments are processed, the bill returns to the Sejm for a final vote.
