Poland grows by 433 hectares — GUS explains why the area increased

Poland's total land area has increased by 433 hectares compared to the previous year, according to the Central Statistical Office (GUS). This reverses the trend from 2025, when the area shrank by 68 hectares. GUS explained that the change stems from updates to land registries and cartographic databases, not from any physical shift in borders.
