Evenepoel wins Tour de France stage 16 time trial, cuts Pogačar's lead to 4.5 minutes

Remco Evenepoel claimed back-to-back stage wins at the Tour de France by taking the stage 16 time trial from Évian to Thonon-les-Bains, beating overall leader Tadej Pogačar by 28 seconds. The Olympic time trial champion moved into second overall, now trailing Pogačar by just over four and a half minutes. Last year's third-place finisher Florian Lipowitz abandoned the race after crashing.
