Poland's New Tax-Free Investment Accounts Head to President After Senate Clears Bill

Poland's Senate passed the Personal Investment Accounts (OKI) bill without amendments, sending it to the president for signature. The law exempts investment assets up to 100,000 złoty and savings up to 25,000 złoty from the capital gains tax known as the "Belka tax". The new rules are set to take effect from 2027, aiming to encourage long-term retail investing.
