Maduro's US Drug Trafficking Trial Set for June 2027

Federal judge Alvin Hellerstein in New York has scheduled the drug trafficking trial of former Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores for June 2027. Both face US narcotics trafficking charges. Maduro was removed from power with US backing.
