August brings total solar eclipse and Perseids — Poland will see a partial eclipse

In August 2025, astronomy enthusiasts will be able to witness two celestial events on the same day: a total solar eclipse and the Perseid meteor shower. The total eclipse will plunge parts of the world into brief darkness, though Poland lies outside the path of totality. Polish observers will nonetheless be able to see a partial solar eclipse.
