ZUS tops up pensions by up to 1,978 PLN a month for parents of four or more children

Poland's Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) pays a supplementary parental benefit — commonly known as "Mama 4 plus" — to those who raised at least four children. The maximum monthly benefit is 1,978.49 PLN, while the average payment stands at 1,060.13 PLN. The benefit is granted primarily to women whose pension entitlements are low or non-existent due to years spent raising children.
