Poland risks losing 1.4 bn PLN in EU funds if 128,000 broadband connections miss August deadline

Polish telecom operators have until the end of August 2026 to connect 128,000 homes to fast broadband or risk losing 1.4 billion PLN in EU recovery funds from the KPO programme. The deadline creates intense pressure on the industry to complete the rollout in time.
