Individuals seeking power usually don't enjoy its day-to-day logistics, nor do they withstand its weight without sacrificing many of the philosophies by which they'd planned to rule. Rhaenyra Targaryen ( Emma D'Arcy ) has encountered countless obstacles since assuming the Iron Throne . Previously, she had demonstrated the traits of a fair and thoughtful leader : weighing every option, minimizing bloodshed, and mercifully cautious to a point some interpreted as hesitant.
