Ukrainians Back New Army Chief but Want Fired Defence Minister Fedorov Reinstated

Mykhailo Drapaty was appointed Ukraine's new army chief on Wednesday to a broadly positive reception from soldiers and civilians alike. However, many Ukrainians are also calling for the reinstatement of former defence minister Mykhailo Fedorov, whose surprise removal triggered the largest war-related protests in Ukraine since Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022.
