Trump Weighing Military Operation in Mali Against Al-Qaeda-Linked Jihadists

The Trump administration is considering a military operation in Mali targeting an Al-Qaeda-linked jihadist group, according to The Washington Post. If launched, it would be the eighth country in which Trump has ordered strikes since the start of his second term in office. Previous operations have included strikes in Yemen, Somalia and Syria.
