Australian Cave Used by Aboriginal Spiritual Leaders for 25,000 Years, Study Finds

Archaeologists working with members of the GunaiKurnai Aboriginal community found that Cloggs Cave in Australia was used by spiritual leaders to perform rituals of magic, healing and cursing for approximately 25,000 years. The research analysed layers of ash from burned grasses found inside the cave. It is considered one of the longest continuously used ritual sites in human history.
