Anduril and Archer Unveil Thunder: Autonomous Attack Rotorcraft Carrying Up to 10 Missiles

Anduril and Archer Aviation unveiled Thunder at the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow — a Group 5 autonomous tiltrotor capable of carrying up to 10 air-to-ground missiles or 76 guided rockets, along with counter-drone systems. It is designed to fly as a "loyal wingman" alongside crewed attack helicopters like the Apache or the Bell MV-75 Cheyenne II, or to operate independently. Its first flight is targeted for 2027; no price or customer has been announced.
