Senate appoints Sylwia Gregorczyk-Abram as Poland's new Ombudsman

The Polish Senate on Wednesday approved the appointment of Sylwia Gregorczyk-Abram as the new Ombudsman (Commissioner for Human Rights). She replaces Prof. Marcin Wiącek, who held the post for five years.
