Prof. Stanisław Gomułka, architect of Poland's economic transformation, dies aged 85

Professor Stanisław Gomułka, a distinguished Polish economist specialising in growth theory and macroeconomics, has died at the age of 85. He was one of the co-architects of the economic reform programme during Poland's pivotal post-1989 transformation period.
