Apps for US military contain Chinese and Russian code, researchers warn

Researchers have warned that mobile apps designed for US military personnel, veterans and their families are collecting large amounts of personal data and sharing it with third parties. More than 13% of the apps examined contain foreign code, including from China and Russia, posing a serious national security risk. The findings have prompted calls for urgent regulatory action.
