Italian FA confirms Guardiola held talks over Italy head coach role

Italian Football Federation president Giovanni Malagò has confirmed that Pep Guardiola held talks about becoming Italy's head coach. The federation is prepared to make financial exceptions to attract the Catalan manager. Guardiola has been without a club since leaving Manchester City.
