Kobane begins postwar integration of Kurdish and Syrian government forces

France 24 journalist Wassim Nasr visited Kobane, the northern Syrian city that became a symbol of Kurdish resistance during the civil war, to report on ongoing postwar reconciliation efforts. The process focuses on integrating Kurdish fighters with Syrian government forces. Kobane is one of the first locations where this model of cooperation between former adversaries is being tested.
