Jonathan Levine in talks to direct Tom Cruise in 'Days of Thunder 2' for Paramount

Jonathan Levine is in talks to direct the "Days of Thunder" sequel at Paramount, with Tom Cruise returning to star. Cruise will produce alongside Jerry Bruckheimer, with Will Staples having written the script. Paramount is also set to release Levine's next film, "Mr. Irrelevant," on Christmas Day.
