Glen Powell to Play Lou Gehrig in New Universal Film

Glen Powell and director Richard Linklater are reuniting for an untitled Lou Gehrig biopic at Universal Pictures. Powell will play the legendary New York Yankees first baseman, with Simon Rich writing the screenplay and Lorne Michaels producing. The duo previously collaborated on the 2016 college baseball comedy "Everybody Wants Some!".
