China Threatens France with Retaliation Over Fast Fashion Law Targeting Shein and Temu

China's Ministry of Commerce condemned a French law regulating the "ultra-fast fashion" sector, targeting platforms such as Shein, Temu and AliExpress. Beijing called the legislation discriminatory against Chinese companies and warned of possible retaliatory measures. The law aims to curb the sale of cheaply produced, rapidly turned-over clothing.
