LSU physicists create room-temperature material that sorts quantum light states

Physicists at Louisiana State University have created a material capable of distinguishing quantum states of light and routing them along separate paths at room temperature. Previously, achieving such effects required extremely low temperatures, making quantum devices costly and complex. The breakthrough could make quantum computers and related technologies significantly more accessible and affordable.
