Hegseth seeks $70B more to keep fighting Iran as Tehran activates air defences on night 11

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has requested an additional $70 billion to continue military operations against Iran. On the 11th consecutive night of US strikes, Iran activated air defence systems across Tehran. Washington has shown no sign of winding down the operation as the conflict continues to escalate.
