Crypto 'wrench attacks' hit 52 cases as targeted value jumps tenfold, CertiK reports

Blockchain security firm CertiK reports that physical "wrench attacks" targeting cryptocurrency holders have now reached 52 confirmed cases, with the total value targeted by criminals jumping more than tenfold. These attacks involve criminals using physical coercion or violence to force victims to hand over their crypto assets. CertiK advises holders to limit publicly available information linking their identity, location or daily routine to their crypto wealth.
