Nearly Half of House Democrats Voted Against Cutting Military Aid to Israel
The US House of Representatives voted 314–104 to reject an amendment that would have cut $3.3 billion in annual military aid to Israel from a State Department funding bill. The amendment was introduced by Republican Representative Thomas Massie of Kentucky. Notably, 103 Democrats — nearly half of the House Democratic caucus — voted against the cut, exposing deep divisions within the party over Israel policy.
