Labour Inspectorate Investigates Pyszne.pl After Plan to Lay Off 5,000 Couriers

Poland's State Labour Inspectorate (PIP) has launched an investigation into food delivery platform Pyszne.pl after the company announced it would lay off 5,000 couriers. The company subsequently offered the dismissed couriers re-employment through one of five selected fleet partners. The case raises questions about workers' rights in the gig economy.
