Scientists discover first-ever contagious cancer in fish

Scientists have discovered the first-ever contagious cancer found in fish, making it only the fourth known transmissible cancer identified in any animal species. The cancer spreads between individuals in a manner similar to previously known contagious cancers in Tasmanian devils and shellfish. Researchers warn that further cases in other species may still go undetected.
