Jupiter-mass exosatellite detected orbiting brown dwarf CD-35 2722 B
Radial velocity measurements have provided evidence for a Jupiter-mass exosatellite orbiting the brown dwarf CD-35 2722 B, itself a substellar companion to a star. Researchers describe the detection as one of the most promising exomoon-like discoveries to date. The study appeared in Nature on 22 July 2026.
