Astronomers have detected a distant Jupiter-mass object orbiting another star, sparking scientific debate over how a moon should be defined and whether objects of this scale can qualify. The find could pave the way for detecting true exomoons — natural satellites of exoplanets. Separately, researchers reported a rare transmissible cancer discovered in catfish.
