WGA seeks court injunction to block Paramount–Warner Bros. Discovery merger

The Writers Guild of America has filed a motion for a preliminary injunction to prevent Paramount Skydance's takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery from closing or moving toward operational integration. Judge Araceli had already halted the deal separately. The WGA's legal challenge adds fresh pressure to block what would be one of the largest media mergers in recent years.
