Zelensky fires Ukraine's top army commander General Syrskyi

President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed General Oleksandr Syrskyi as Ukraine's top military commander, following days of public protests. The backlash was triggered by the earlier removal of popular Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov. Syrskyi's dismissal deepens a leadership crisis at the top of Ukraine's armed forces.
