Polish Army Forms New Mountain Light Battalion in Wojnarowa

Poland's Armed Forces are forming the 21st Light Mountain Battalion in Wojnarowa, a new specialised unit designed to operate in the most demanding terrain and climatic conditions. The battalion will be part of the 21st Podhale Rifles Brigade. The unit is intended for operations in mountainous and otherwise hard-to-reach areas.
