Wisconsin town bagged Flock cameras after company refused to remove them

The city council of Verona, Wisconsin voted to stop using three Flock automated licence plate reader cameras, but Flock refused to remove them and told city staff it was uncertain whether the devices could be remotely disabled. The town then covered the cameras with black plastic rubbish bags until Flock eventually removed them itself. The details emerged from emails obtained by 404 Media through a public records request.
