BAE Systems unveils Brontanax unmanned fighter jet at Farnborough Airshow

BAE Systems unveiled a model of its new unmanned fighter, the Brontanax — named from ancient Greek words for thunder and king — at the Farnborough Airshow. About the size of a Hawk trainer jet, it is expected to begin flight testing next year. BAE joins Airbus, Boeing, Anduril and General Atomics in the fast-growing market for Collaborative Combat Aircraft.
