Why USB-B never caught on like USB-A or USB-C

USB-B, the boxy connector found mainly on printers and audio equipment, never achieved the widespread adoption of USB-A or USB-C. Its bulky size and limited use cases — primarily stationary devices where compactness doesn't matter — kept it from becoming a universal standard. USB-A and USB-C proved far more versatile and user-friendly for everyday consumer devices.
