Single-dose obesity drug works for 70 days — 10x longer than Ozempic

Scientists at the Wistar Institute in Philadelphia have developed a method that turns a patient's own body into a drug-producing factory for obesity treatment. In mouse trials, a single dose reduced body weight and blood glucose levels for up to 70 days — up to ten times longer than Ozempic. The breakthrough could make weekly injections a thing of the past.
