Disgaea creator: Sony 'doesn't understand' what physical games mean to fans

Disgaea creator Sohei Niikawa has criticised Sony's plan to stop manufacturing physical game discs from January 2028. He argued Sony has not considered what physical editions mean to fans who value them. Niikawa went as far as saying that if Sony is dropping discs, it may as well eliminate its hardware too.
