Greece Blocks EU's 21st Russia Sanctions Package Over LNG Transport

EU member state ambassadors meeting in Brussels failed on Wednesday to break the deadlock over the 21st sanctions package against Russia. Greece is blocking the agreement, pushing for the removal of restrictions on Russian LNG transport. The standoff means Russia continues to earn billions of dollars from LNG exports that remain outside existing sanctions.
