IPN Exhumes Remains of Nearly 40 Volhynia Massacre Victims

Poland's Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) is conducting exhumations in Wola Ostrowiecka, where the remains of nearly 40 victims of the 1943 Volhynia Massacre were uncovered. The victims were murdered by Ukrainian nationalists in August 1943. A forensic medicine specialist will examine the remains to determine the exact circumstances and cause of death.
