Fake inspectors are touring neighbourhoods – don't let them in

Scammers posing as safety inspectors or officials are going door-to-door in residential areas asking to be let inside homes. Genuine officials do not conduct such unannounced inspections, so any such visit should be refused. The number of incidents rises in summer, and residents are urged to warn neighbours and family.
