Facebook, Instagram and Messenger suffer afternoon outage

Users began reporting widespread access problems with Facebook, Instagram and Messenger between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Both mobile apps and browser versions were affected. Meta has not yet given a cause or estimated restoration time.
