British woman jailed 6 years in Hong Kong for false rape allegations and blackmail

Isabel Rose, a 26-year-old from south-east London, has been sentenced to six years in prison in Hong Kong for blackmail and perverting the course of public justice. She had reported being raped by a British banker she met while travelling in south-east Asia, visiting him in Hong Kong in early 2024. The court found her allegations to be false.
