NHS trust investigated for corporate manslaughter over Nottingham stabbings

Police have opened a corporate manslaughter investigation into the Nottinghamshire NHS trust that treated triple killer Valdo Calocane before the June 2023 Nottingham attacks. Calocane, who has paranoid schizophrenia, fatally stabbed students Barnaby Webber and Grace O'Malley Kumar, both 19, and 65-year-old caretaker Ian Coates on 13 June 2023. He was subsequently sentenced to an indefinite hospital order.
