King of the Hill revival reverses years of character growth by reigniting Nancy's affair

Last year, the King of the Hill revival debuted with the iconic show's 14th season, and the series raised some red flags regarding the relationship between Dale ( Toby Huss ) and Nancy Gribble ( Ashley Gardner ). When 20th Century Television released a video of the new opening intro sequence , it hinted that Nancy had resumed her affair with John Redcorn ( Jonathan Joss ). Well, that tease in the Season 14 premiere, "Return of the King," appeared to be a fake-out. Unfortunately, the Season 15 premiere, "Failure to Hard Launch," and the later episode, "The Best Little Marriage in Texas," walk back that fake-out, revealing that Nancy and John actually did resume their relationship . The Season 15 revelation, sadly, walks back decades of character development in the worst possible fashion.
