IPN uses FBI technology to identify Volhynia massacre victims
Poland's Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) has deployed a genetic identification tool developed by the US FBI to help identify victims of the Volhynia massacre and other wartime atrocities. The technology supports ongoing exhumation and identification work carried out by the IPN. It represents a further step in efforts to account for Polish victims of World War II-era crimes.
